A Letter to my unborn children

My beloved children, I have not yet beheld you but I am filled with a great hope and joy when I think about you. I have no time machine to look into the future and see what you look like. I can only imagine my sons and daughters will have outwardly slanting ears and a rectangular face, with dimples. Or perhaps you'd take after your mother. Only God knows what I or your mother will pass onto you. Its magical to look at another human being and see yourself in them. I wonder how much more God feels when he looks at us humans forged in His image.

I write this letter with an indescribable peace within me, knowing that I will see you soon and very soon. I hope I will be a great father to you, just as the Father in Heaven has been great to me. I hope that He will find you, just as He found me. As I write this, I'm in the middle of numerous examinations and tests. They are bludgeoning and unforgiving, unlike our Heavenly Father. I am a soldier. Soldiers are at the front line, battling furiously with the enemy which is Satan. I'm not talking of these worldy wars and rumours of wars. I'm talking about the war between good and evil. God eventually wins the War. It has been written in stone that He will. But before then, the saints must be persecuted and at times, put to death. All because they stood for the truth.

Children, I write this so that one day, you will pick a side in this grand scheme. A wise man once said that childhood is measured by sights, smells and sounds; until the dark hour of reason strikes. I pray that when the hour is nigh, you will be wise and heed counsel. I pray that you listen to your mother. Proverbs 1:8 says, "Listen, my son, to your fathers instruction and do not forsake your mothers teaching." I wish there was a way to transfer all my life experiences to you directly other than verbally or in writting. Then again it may be too much to feel what I feel or see what I see and HOW I see it. I'm heavily melancholic and perhaps, bearing what I bear may be too much. God had it His way; for our own good of course.

Experience has to be experienced for it to be called experience, otherwise, it wouldn't be called experience. No one can experience on your behalf. Experience is so personal that no one can steal it from you. You cant even  erase it from your mind. Experience is the best teacher. If you have no experience, then please listen to those that have experienced. A wise man learns from his mistakes, but a wiser man learns from the mistakes of others; that way he wont have to make them himself. I made one mistake which I hope you will not make: It took me years to come to Christ and I succumbed to His unfailing Love at 23. Knowing what I know now, I would have heeded the call at 12 years of age, or as soon as that dark hour of reasoning struck. But sadly, choice cannot be choice unless both options are comprehended and experienced. By that I mean good and evil. You would have to choose for yourselves. The best thing to do is know beforehand the consequences of your choices. That way, you will choose life and not death.

I'm currently a Doctor, or at least trying to be one. I believe it was God that called me to this mission of healing the sick, both of body and soul. It is rewarding to see the sick healed and the lost found. I know that you will find a noble cause for which to live for. Mine is just to point you in the right direction. I know you will be brave men and women. I know you will be the voices of reason and insight in a world darkened and diseased with evil. The world is counting on you to be the change it needs. You don't have to find the cure for cancer to be a hero. All you have to do is be who you were created to be. And the only way you can find your purpose is to go back to the one who formed you in the womb. God. Seek Him and you will find Him. Behold, He knocks at the door of your hearts. If you open for him he will enter and dine with you and he will love you (Revelations 3:20).

Children, there is so much I'd love to share with you.But I'll write more later. In the meantime, there are pressing matters that need addressing because your lives, both here and in the afterlife, depend on it. Please listen to your old man...

Don't follow the crowd.

The crowd was never right. It was never right in the past and it will never be right in the future. The world is growing more and more liberal and the moral threshold is lowering by the day. What used to shock people a decade ago doesn't shock people today. As I write this, gay marriage has been legalised in most of the USA and the entire European Union. Gay clergy have been ordained as priests; they seem to have decided that Sodom and Gomorrah didn't happen or God made a mistake in destroying them. I have nothing against homosexuals. I have something against homosexuality. Guns in this day and age can be bought over the counter like hot-dogs or candy. Drugs of abuse are readily available  in all forms. The media is fanning the fire by making nudity, sex, violence and vengeance more desirable and acceptable. My child, turn off that television or laptop or whatever will have been invented in your time. Watch the news if you must. But don't let it control you. For every minute you watch television, spend twice as much time studying your Bible. That way you will be armed to teeth with wisdom for the day it will be required of you.
Stand out
I'll say it again my dear sons and daughters. THE CROWD IS NEVER RIGHT. Noah was taunted and mocked;him and his family; for a hundred and twenty years as he was preaching to the world to repent. Eventually, the vast majority was outside the ark when the flood came and swept them away. When Sodom and Gomorrah were at their prime, they gave themselves over to sexual perversion so concupiscent that God HIMSELF had to get off His throne and come down to earth to see it for himself. He was heartbroken at how the devil had so degraded man and the gift of sex he had bestowed to him. His heartbreak turned into wrath, but before he could destroy it, He saw in there a man who was vexed day and night by the surrounding moral decay. A man called Lot. He sent his angels to take him out of there and the fiery lust raging in the city was evidenced when the people wanted to lay with the angels. Eventually, Lot and his daughters lived to tell the tale. The crowd didn't.

I use these examples because you will be living in times that are far worse than mine. The Bible says,"Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the coming of the son of man. People were eating, drinking, marrying and giving in marriage until the day Noah entered the ark; then the flood came and destroyed them all. And it was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating, drinking, buying and selling. They were planting and building. But on the day Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and Sulfur from heaven and destroyed them all." (Luke 17:26-29). My dear precious children, don't fit in to the world, and don't be afraid to stand apart; even in the face of persecution. Be brave in the face of it. Remember fortune favours the brave.

Santa, Superman, Captain America, Batman,Thor,Flash,Green Lantern,Hulk, Iron-man,Spider man,Ben Ten, the fantastic 4 and the X-men are fake heroes. Some are POSSIBLY fallen angels being glorified.

Jesus!

My dear children, I don't mean to sound harsh or rude. I love you and want the best for you. That is why I have to tell you the truth. Marvel comics was made so that you "Marvel" at these fictitious superheroes, stealing your attention from the REAL Ultra-Superhero which is our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. Its a product of Hollywood. It is so poisonous to young minds yet so subtle. It seems so harmless. But before you know it, children at Sabbath school or Sunday school no longer want to hear about bible stories but are obsessed with Superman. Satan wants possession of minds from their infancy if possible and has worked with great efficiency so that Sermons and Biblical teachings find no place in young minds or hearts but instead, have them romanticize these superheros. Its a trick. I'll show you what real superhero's look like.

ELIJAH- He was a one-man army
GIDEON- The REAL story of the 300, not the 300 Spartans Hollywood gave you.
SAMSON- The strongest man that ever lived.
DAVID- Killed a fully armed giant with a stone and a sling.
JONAH- Survived the digestive juices of a whale for three days!
MOSES-Parted the red Sea with his staff and led the Israelites from captivity
ESTHER- Saved the Jews from extermination
DANIEL-Survived hungry lions
THE HEBREW BOYS(Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego) survived a super-heated furnace.

These are but  examples. And these events ACTUALLY happened. There are many more that can be found in the Bible. The greatest super Hero of all time is The Lord and saviour JESUS CHRIST. He is the one who saved humanity and the whole world. Don't loose sight of Him.

You are not Alone.

The fellowship of Christians
I'm not talking of UFO's. I'm saying that God is with you always. In Hebrews 13:5 He says,"Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you." You are not alone, even as a soldier of Christ. There is an infantry, a navy and an air force in the army of Christ. You will never be left helpless as a follower of Jesus, even in the face of opposition or persecution. God says in John 14:18,"I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you."Take comfort in the thought that God uses people to minister to you and will use you to minister to others. There are entire networks set up to keep you afloat in the event you sink. I know you are not perfect. Neither am I. We are souls encapsulated in a bag of meat that most of the time wants to defy common sense and reasoning. When you do fall, I want you to know that I still love you. You are my children and nothing will make you cease to be mine. God loves you all the more. Strive to see yourself in heavens eyes and not by the eyes of the world. Strive to live by godly standards and not  by the standards of the world. Children, there is much more that I would love to share; much more that I would love you to know. But this is enough for now. Always know that you are precious. You are valuable and you are loved. I'll write to you again soon enough. Take care of yourselves and stay away from trouble.

With lots of love,

Your earthly father.
