Blessed are the suffering

There I was, walking in the blistering noon-day sun. My thoughts we're heavy, but not as heavy as my right leg which was gradually healing from a fracture. I was from church. I escaped the warm handshakes and hugs I'd receive from my friends to be alone. It is in those moments of solitude that the Spirit of God moves your soul into thought. The temperature was 30 degrees Celsius when I thought of Revelations 7:16 which depicts that great day when we shall be in heaven. It says, “Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat down on them, nor any scorching heat." What a comforting thought it was. A glimpse of paradise. Though it didn't reduce the suns heat, it gave me strength to endure it. I believe every hard trial and experience has a lesson at the end; however much grief it brought you; or however trivial you think it. In this instant, endurance was the lesson.

Ladies and gentlemen, we live in a world full of pain and torments of many kinds. Some are self-inflicted. Some just happened. Others are the devils. However, If you are going through tough times and don't understand why then this article is for you. I'm not here to wave a magic wand and wish them away, but I'm here to tell you that you are EXTREMELY BLEST if you have problems. Sounds like a paradox doesn't it? Blessings and problems don't tango so well. AHA! They do! James 1:2-3 says, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."

Problems in the long run produce resilience. They produce a certain beauty of character that is priceless. Problems make you more Christ-like. Christ Himself was a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief. While the process of being sharpened may not feel so pleasant, the end result is glorious. Just as sand-paper polishes a sculpture, your problems are polishing you; not just for your glory but to the glory of God. Your refinement isn't just for you, it is so that you may help other people be refined also. You are blest if you have trouble, because in doing so, you are sharing in the same cup of suffering that Christ partook of to save the world. And if you share in Christ’s sufferings, then you shall share in His glory when He returns; a glory that lasts forever and neither rust nor moth can cause to decay. Only those who shared in Christ’s sufferings can truly understand the cost of Heaven; purchased at such a dear cost for a fallen race. One who has not suffered can easily take for granted sacred things. It is my belief that only those who have suffered can be close to Christ in the heavenly Kingdom. 1 Peter 4:13 says, “But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed."

Brethren, in the consumerist world we are in, the idea of joy or relief has been hijacked to mean an abundance of things or power. Wealth doesn't mean happiness; evidenced by the number of rich but unhappy people; wealthy but lonely. I'm not demonizing the rich, I'm just saying that TRUE happiness isn't material; it is immaterial. Happiness is an inner peace and harmony that surpasses all understanding, as though the atmosphere of heaven is within you. It is when there is a balance in all spheres of your life. It is when you battle evil and succeed. It is in little triumphs and little blessings that we sometimes take for granted. It is when you have Christ within your heart that this joy in little things is experienced. Knowing Christ is the mountain top; the epitome of happiness; knowing that your soul, in this life and the next, is safely in the hands of the one who formed the world; the one who triumphed over all evil and trouble.

The Devil has not slept but has worked hard to further starve the spiritually hungry by producing false leads. But I'm glad we serve a God who is greater than the devil. We serve The Almighty; the one and only. The King of Kings and Lord of Lords who stretched out His hand and commanded the universe into existence. Fear not beloved. He who watches over you does not sleep nor slumber. He intends to nourish every soul that He brought into existence. My only question is this>>>
 WHAT IS YOUR APPETITE?

What your heart desires greatly defines who you are. Because thoughts become actions. Actions become habits and habits become character. Whatever your appetites are, I pray that they are inclined heavenward; so much that every action you perform here on Earth is carried out with Heaven in mind. Heaven is our goal as Christians, not worldly recognition and success. I'm not calling you to a mentality of poverty but I'm advising you on what is important and what isn't. Always strive to see yourself in heavens' eyes. Seek the approval of heaven and the owner of heaven more than you seek the approval of sinful, errant men. Surely, the potter’s approval is far more important than the approval of the pottery.

Beloved reader, I also want you to know that suffering doesn't last forever. Your suffering is but for a short time compared to the relief you shall enjoy. The average lifespan of a human being is 80 under good circumstances. 120 years at most. Now think about this. What is 80 years compared to a millennium of health, wealth and prosperity? It is miniscule. It is minute. In Romans 8:18 Paul says, “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us”. You’d rather suffer a little while then spend eternity in paradise than live indulgently and selfishly in a cruel world then die eternally.

I also want you to know that God is close to the suffering. God, in His pitying tenderness, is eager to show you mercy. Unlike the mythical, commercial Santa who only gives gifts to well-behaved children, God gives and forgives. He causes rain to fall on the just and the unjust; in the hope that the unjust may behold his goodness and turn from their wickedness.

I could read to you innumerable biblical examples of people that suffered before their exaltation. Joseph had to be sold as a slave by his own brothers, falsely accused of rape and thrown into prison before he became the prime minister of Egypt. David was looked down upon by his brothers because he was a mere shepherd boy; just before he brought down Goliath and later became the King. Abraham was thought a lunatic for listening to strangers and wandering into the desert; but he became the father of many nations. Jesus carried a 150kg cross on his back up a hill called Golgotha after being scourged and whipped thoroughly; and as he did, the very people he loved rejected him. They jeered and mocked the king of glory. He kept the faith and stayed the path to his foretold demise. He endured the blood, sweat and spit that was upon him to finish his mission like a brave soldier.

Three days later, he resurrected to his heavenly throne. He is now the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and there is no other name through which man must be saved but through the name of Jesus Christ. He now reassures you in John 16:33 “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but cheer up. I have overcome the world.”

Why I am a Seventh Day Adventist

Hello beloved reader of my blog, I'm about to embark on a topic who's discussion may last a lifetime, and as we wade through these waters, someones mind may be changed. Another shall be more convinced than ever that Adventism is the way to go and yet again, someone may be galvanised all the more against this faith. Please keep an open mind, an open Bible and an open dictionary as you go through this article. I'll do my best to get to the point. I don't enjoy overwhelming you with vast quantities of words and scripture which will smother the intentions of my message, which is to bring more people to Christ and to the truth. The Bible says,"Come, let us reason together: Says The LORD...." (Isaiah 1:18).  I'm glad you opened this page. Isaiah 56:1-2 KJV [1] … Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, a and do justice: b for my salvation is near c to come, and my righteousness to be revealed. [2] Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the d sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil. … I'm here to testify why I'm a Seventh Day Adventist.

I'm a man hungry for the truth. In my early days in the faith, I was fed with spiritual milk; that is to say, I was taught the basics of God's love, the basis of our existence and where we are headed. I learnt a great deal as a new convert, and my walk is a spiralling staircase that moves ever upwards. The obstacles in my way are but stepping stones, not obstacles, that lie between me and my destination.Every man has his errors, But I take refuge in the Blood of Christ which was shed to save my kind. However, as time went by, my walk became much more complex, far beyond the early days. I started to notice that my spiritual appetites increased from merely wanting to live a godly life to wanting to tell others of this great treasure that I found in Christ Jesus.

As time went by, I started to feel a dilution of Gospel truths because there is much more to the gospel than being godly and successful; and this seemed to be all some people were interested in. I also noticed the good and the bad;what God has done in peoples lives and what Satan has done as well. I started to notice slight deviations in the gospels being preached by various churches. I couldn't bury my head in the soil. There was a stain on my conscience that avoidance could not cure. I then dug deeper and read my Bible even more. And I noticed the devil had managed to infiltrate some churches to some extent. I'm not saying that all non-Adventists are of the devil>>that is bigotry. Adventists aren't against people, but against instituted lies that enslave people. God has people in All denominations, but I believe that some have succumbed to deceptions described in 2 Timothy 4:3-4 which says,"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts they shall heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables" (KJV). The devil loves it when this happens, because he can now confidently argue with a non-believer and convince him that Christianity is a warped religion full of denominations and confusion(which I know to be a lie). I can tell you that the difference between these churches is how much Romanism they clung to and how much they let go of after the great reformation by Martin Luther and company. The Seventh day Adventist Church has let go of all the false teachings, including the worship on Sunday (which was changed from Saturday by the Roman catholic Church).

We live in an age of Mega churches. Where Pastors have deviated from speaking the whole truth to giving mere motivational pep talks that have everything to do with nothing.  In an age where the signs of Christs inevitable return are blatant, we need a leadership that shall proclaim the Three Angels' Message in Revelations 14. Which says in Summary;

  1. Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His Judgement has come.
  2. Babylon is fallen.
  3. Don't worship the beast.
Let me break this down...

I may be ignorant but I don't know of any other Church that takes these prophesies and Christs return as seriously as the Seventh Day Adventists. I searched places and it is in this church that I found the whole truth being preached without fear or favour; without bias or inclination. Others seem to have shelved the books of prophecy because these topics are deemed 'too complicated' for their congregants; this is a lie because the Bible is written in a language that even the simplest of souls is able to understand. Some things however require spiritual discernment; and I thank God for giving wisdom in abundance to all who ask for it, without finding fault (James 1:5). So if you don't understand, ask! and it shall be given. Seek and you shall find. knock on the door and it shall be opened for you.(Matthew 7:7).

In these perilous times of war, famine, strife, depression, disease and death, we need to hear more of Christ's salvation and coming; that our suffering is not in vain. Brethren we need to hear the truth in this age of deception. We need to hear of God's pardoning grace in this age of sin; where souls long to be free of its power. We need to preach and teach what The Lord said, not some fancy, warped theological theory conjured from the mind of a man. Where souls ache and crave love and affection, they should be pointed to the Author of Love! Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We need to preach God's Holiness also. We need the truth beloved. ALL of it. That said, I must tell you that faith isn't foolishness. You,dear reader, need to THINK. You need to be rooted in the word of God and open your eyes. You need to analyse the inclination of the doctrines being taught in your church; whether it emphasises on worldly success or leans towards success in the eyes of heaven. Whether it says 'live your best life now'  or   'carry your cross and follow Jesus'.

In Summary, here's EXACTLY why I'm an Adventist.

  1. We Discourage one-man shows.
This Church does not pay extreme homage to individuals. In fact everyone who stands on that pulpit knows very well that the message is greater than the messenger, and Christ Jesus is the head of the church. I love how Pastor Randy Skeete begins his sermons. He first asks the congregation to pray to God to put His words into his mouth. Then he asks the congregation to open their Bibles and their minds; and finally, he asks them to THINK. The Holy Spirit will do His work and will move the church to will and to change.

I love the fact that we lack these Cult-of-personality figures such as Joel Osteen or T.D. Jakes, who's words are given more credit than the word of God by their congregations (and they sure know how to make you feel good). I know every market has a mad man, but the demographics are in favour of the Adventists. In these dark ages, we need to reach to peoples minds and not their emotions. We need to encourage people to think more than they feel, because feelings are as fleeting as the wind, yet thoughts become beliefs; beliefs become faith and faith yields actions, and actions become habits, and habits yield character, which when tested by strife, is solid and unwavering.

  2.  We aren't afraid to call sin by its name.

Cry aloud, spare a not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew b my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins(ISAIAH 58:1).The SDA church preaches the truth in love. If you truly love someone, I believe you'd tell him the truth rather than flatter him with sweet nothings. God disciplines those he loves. In fact, the very act of disciplining your children is a form of love. The Bible says,"..The Lord disciplines the one He loves, and he chastens the one He accepts as His son" Hebrews 12:6.

Ladies and gentlemen, God is Love. But we forget that God is just. God is Holy. I've been to churches where all people preach is God's love, with a biased inclination, and the effect of that is the misrepresentation of God as this big, fluffy teddy bear that just wants to kiss and hug. It reduces the Majesty and Glory of God. We must balance God's love with God's Holiness; God's Mercy with God's Justice. The Bible says,"But who can endure the day of His coming? Who can stand when He appears? For He will be like a refiners fire, or a launderer's soap" Malachi 3:2. In the presence of God's Glory, all darkness flees. Take note; it is the light that displaces the darkness, because the darkness is subject to the light; and the darkness is the absence of light. Because where there is darkness, there is fear and confusion. We have been called to be a light unto the world in this dark age (Matthew 5:14-16).

My great friend Ernest Wamboye once said," Don't shout at the darkness.Instead, be a light in that darkness and people will follow the light and glorify God." I agreed. I just wanted to add ISAIAH 58:1;that there are people in that darkness who are so entrenched there, they need shouting at. Because the devil is shouting aloud, we may as well stop whispering the truth and shout it. We need to proclaim the Gospel clearly and aloud like the Angels in Revelations 14 because there are many false leads. The devil also transforms himself into an angel of light, and we need to identify these false leads when we see them so we may stop people from heading the wrong direction; that is the basis for pointing out falsehood within the church; not because we enjoy fault-finding, but because we want people to follow the real light of the world which is Jesus Christ.

   3. The SDA Church has ALL the Hallmarks of the Remnant Church described in Revelations.

Yes. I said it. To summarize what I mean by this, please watch the following sermon. Here is the link

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTLRcrKm35A

Well, Just in case you couldn't go through it all, let me explain.

Regarding the three angels' messages typed above from Revelations chapter 14, I would like you to remember that this world is coming to an end;much sooner than we think. I'm not one of those dooms-day fanatics who try to predict the worlds end with mathematical specificity, because we all know what the Bible says. No one knows the day or the hour; neither the angels in heaven nor the son, but only the Father (Matthew 24:36). That said, Jesus did give us The signs of the end times in Matthew 24:3-14. Wars and rumours of wars, famines, earthquakes, nations rising against nations, persecution of saints and hatred of them because of their testimonies, false prophets, betrayal and deviations from the true faith have already happened and are happening before our very eyes. As a christian, it would be extremely diabolical to ignore this truth.

What should capture your attention is verse 14 which says,"And this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, then the end will come."…

The Adventist Church has gone out to the ends of the world to preach the gospel; to every Kindred, tongue and Nation! ADRA has done so much and has partnered with so many organisations to bring relief to the suffering. The SDA church has ministered to the broken hearted, the sick, the dying, the hungry, the downtrodden, the motherless, the fatherless, the prostitute>>> to each and every group imaginable; and guess what, We are just beginning! This missionary work must be undertaken by the church during the last days.

Revelations 14:12 says,"Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the Faith of Jesus."So the remnant Church shall Honor the ten commandments. Revelations 19:10 says,"...For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” (NASB).  Beloved, I firmly believe this gift of prophecy was evidenced in the life of a woman called Ellen G.White, a reformer during the late 1800's, just as Martin Luther was during the great reformation. I know  how controversial it is when someone states they have the gift of prophecy, but my Bible tells me in Acts 2:17,"In the last days,God says, I will pour out my spirit on all people. your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams."(also Joel 2:28)… that is clear. But someone may ask,"how will you know she wasn't a false prophet?" well the answer to that question is simple. Matthew 7:16 says,"By their fruit you will recognise them(false teachers). Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles?." Brethren, a good tree produces good fruit. Her life, her marriage and her children are a testimony of her good fruits. She was blameless(not sinless) and needed the Cross just as you and I did. All she ever taught came straight from The Bible. Her visions and experience however are NOT a substitute for the Bible, but merely a supplement to explain the bible in a deeper perspective. It is my belief that God raises up people for great campaigns against falsehood. People like Martin Luther, Wesley and White. All we must do as the congregation is watch and see if any new doctrine is rooted in the word of God. The Holy Bible is the standard.

Well ladies and gentlemen, the book of Revelations has a lot to say, but I can tell you confidently that Christ's Remnant church is the one that is awake and watching for his return. It is The church that keeps the ten commandments, evidenced in Revelations 12:17 which says,"Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring--those who keep God's commandments and hold fast their testimony about Jesus."… Ladies and gentlemen, God's remnant church is the one that keeps his Law. Someone may brand it legalism, or fanaticism. Someone may even call it salvation by works, but let me clear the air; this brings us to the next contentious issue which is the Sabbath.

The Sabbath.
"So whats the big deal anyway? its just a day"…someone once muttered. Well my dear beloved reader, it is a big deal. You see ever since the creation of man, the devil has waged war against God's righteousness, which is embodied in God's LAW. Ever since Satan got the ambition to replace The Most High, he tried to pervert Gods laws and making opposites and counterfeits. That's why keeping God's law is such a big deal.
Moses
Well someone may argue that the law was done away with, and that keeping it is salvation by works. Well, My Bible tells me in Matthew 5:18,"For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished."Therefore, The Law still stands.

Ellen G.White and a group of reformers noticed something fishy. Ever since the great reformation the previous century, many churches had mushroomed. And the Protestant movement had done well to shun heresies, but had forgotten one very important thing, THE DAY OF WORSHIP, In Keeping with the fourth commandment in Exodus 20:8-11 which says,"i“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. jSix days you shall labour, and do all your work, 10 but the kseventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the lsojourner who is within your gates. 11 For min six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy."

It turns out that Luther's reformation was incomplete, due to the keeping of Sunday holy instead of Saturday. I understand that God works gently and gracefully to rectify mistakes, lest anyone be lost to error. I plead with you to reason with me and drop your guard. I mean you no harm. This subject makes people squirm in their chairs but look at it objectively. The seventh day of the week is Saturday. Well how do we know it is? we know this because the Jews always kept the sabbath and have never lost count of days till today. During the Exodus from Egypt, the Israelites ate the bread of Heaven; Manna rained from heaven , enough for each person such that those who took much didn't have too much and those who had little didn't have too little. On the eve of the sabbath, the Manna rained twice as much; enough for that day and the next, and on the sabbath, manna didn't rain from heaven(Exodus 16:1-35). That way, The Lord taught them to keep the Sabbath. They still keep it to this very day.

Well someone might argue that Paul the apostle said,"Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day"(Colossians 2:16). Well ladies and gentlemen, Paul was referring to the Now obsolete rituals and festivals such as the passover ,feasts, and slaughtering of lambs. Not THE SABBATH DAY! Paul HIMSELF KEPT THE SABBATH DAY HOLY...... So did Jesus, the twelve disciples and all the apostles, prophets and saints recorded in the Holy Book. People quote that verse out of context. In fact people quote Paul out of context and make him say what they want him to say.Scripture confirms scripture. Paul's style of writing was deep and needs spiritual discernment. SEE HEBREWS 4:1-11 below where PAUL CLARIFIES about THE SABBATH.I believe all the confusion is the work of Belial. In fact 2 Peter 3:16 says,"He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction."...

Isaiah 58:13-14 says,"If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath and from doing as you please on my holy day, if you call the Sabbath a delight and the LORD's holy day honourable, and if you Honor it by not going your own way and not doing as you please or speaking idle words, then you will find your joy in the LORD, and I will cause you to ride in triumph on the heights of the land and to feast on the inheritance of your father Jacob." The mouth of the LORD has spoken."

No man Has the authority to change Gods law. All these changes happened when the Roman catholic church and Papacy came into power and persecuted many and changed times and laws to suit their own ends and desires. Daniel 7:25 says," He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time."

Brethren, I am a Seventh Day Adventist because this church has followed the straight and narrow path; and the gates of hades shall not and will not prevail against it.

A wise man once said the following...

"Some try to turn Christians into Sabbath keepers, while God is

working to turn some Sabbath keepers into Christians. The
Sabbath is forever as it points us to Jesus as our Creator and
Redeemer. The Sabbath is forever but Jesus is our goal; some with sound doctrine and others without."

Ill leave this article open for discussion and feel free to contribute. We are all Children of God and made in His image. Let us strive to be more and more like him every single day. I want you to ponder on Romans 10:4, (NRSV) which says,"For Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes." Let us not be mere hearers of the Law, but doers of it. May God's peace be upon you and may God bless you beloved.

Hebrews 4:1-11 KJV [1] Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. [2] For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. [3] For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. [4] For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. [5] And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. [6] Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: [7] Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. [8] For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day? [9] There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. [10] For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. [11] Let us labour i therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. …

The Singing,Preaching,Praying Devils.

Dear reader, if possible, please open your Bible as you read this so you may verify and confirm the truth from God's word. Thank you.

The singing devil.
Ive said it before and Ill say it again. Music is one of the most powerful tools in getting to the human spirit. Music can be an uninvited guest in your mind. Music may enter your thoughts without your permission. If taste is to tongue, sight is to eye, and feeling is to touch, then MUSIC is to ear. I recently argued with my friends about a song called "Lingala ya Yesu"(Lingala music for Jesus)...Ill be honest. I don't like it. Please don't be offended. I don't hate the musicians or their attempts to further the gospel; Some people may argue that you cant put God in a box. Some will say, "It is unfair to criticise music that has brought me closer to the Lord." Some will even call me a rigid absolutist who's out of touch with the world. Others may criticise my taste for music. I can agree with one thing: that as a Lingala music fan listens to that song, he may become aware of a man called Jesus. That said, I fear ladies and gentlemen that we are compromising a little too much; trying too hard to make the Gospel 'cool' when in fact,we are diluting its effectiveness and potency.

The Gospel artists that made that song may well be good Christians. They are candidates of heaven just as I am and God loves them. But,as you plough through this article my beloved reader please remember Lucifer was the chief musician in heaven. Remember he is the master of counterfeits and the "Author of all lies" (John 8:44). I'm not here to divide God's kingdom or His people; I'm only here to enlighten. I dare raise my voice not against a group of gospel musicians and preachers, but against a rather grey area that is so light in shade, it looks white to the naked eye.

Truth be told, there are those among us who disguise their love for carnal music under the veil of Worship. Someone out there loves Hip hop, and has a problem letting go of it, so someone came up with 'Holy hip-hop'... the same was done for rock (gospel rock), Jazz, and house music( gospel house) and the outrageous Heavy Metal... I can only imagine what the world would have come to when 'Holy Dubstep' will come on the airwaves. There is a problem with this conformist tendency we are now normalising. We are reaching to peoples emotions but not their minds. We are offering them an analog(mirror image) to the club where the 'twerking' can continue. We are teaching by persuasion, but by persuasion we aren't teaching. Instead of taking the church to the world, we are bringing the world into the church. We forget that God is Holy. 1 Peter 1:14-16 says,"As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do.; for it is written 'Be holy, as I am holy.Lets be brutally honest. What is Holy about rock, jazz, lingala, hiphop, house or dubstep. In addition to this,The Bible severally says "do not conform to the pattern of this world" (Romans 12:2). Look at the origins of each of these genres; and see how craftily the devil has concocted this potion of lies that are 98% Truth and 2% Fallacy.

Just because a song has the name 'Jesus' in it, or a line from the bible, that doesn't automatically make it a Gospel song. The songs demeanour and genre are put into question where more often than not, it is associated with club music or some rock concert for example. I will confess: whenever I hear Lingala the first thing that comes to mind is "Madiaba"(Buttocks), a popular Lingala track; or Koffi Olomide (Lingala artist). There was once a time this business crossed the line. I heard a track saying "Tingizia Yesu hiyo kitu" (Shake that thing for Jesus).... I snapped. I hope were now on the same page.

Recently there were Gospel Music awards and I thought to myself, would Jesus attend that show? doesn't awarding one artist and denying the other this prize inspire envy in the 'looser' and provoke pride in the 'winner'?There is also the applause the singers receive. Is it for them or is it for God? There is a preacher named Charles D. Brooks who always asked his congregation not to clap for him. He said its permissible but not constructive; so he asked them to say 'Amen'. I thought he was too rigid but I later understood why. I'm sure Ive annoyed some of you by now but hear me out friends. We walk dangerously close to error by opening avenues for pride and envy to proliferate in our hearts. Moreover, we have commercialised God's word. By conforming, we give room for the devil to poison our hearts and minds with pride, envy as well as his heresies.

Ladies and gentlemen, when a gospel song is vague, unnecessarily repetitive, devoid of depth and shallow of scripture; when the artist is self-seeking and derives more attention than the message, I beg you to turn it off. When the song can easily be played in the club along with the secular songs, its is inappropriate. If you want to sing and act like the world, guess what; the world can do it better. Lets stop trying to be like the world. With these criteria you're probably wondering what I listen to; well I love Acapella, and any harmonious music that puts more emphasis on the message rather than the messengers in a ratio not less than 9:1 ; music that reiterates scripture, wisdom and worship rather than applause for singers; preferably devoid of drums and guitars which more often than not smother and suffocate the message rather than complement it. But that's just me... So brethren, when you smell pride and hypocrisy, please walk away.

The Preaching, Praying Devil.

There are among us what we call 'Stage-play' saints. Of all sinners the hypocrite does the most harm to God's church in this world and therefore will have the most torment in the one to follow. Jesus laments in Matthew 23:13 "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to." Religion has consistently proved to be the hypocrites' favourite turf, as they seek to snare others into their error and sin while posing as children of God. Its the best opportunity to display their righteousness and 'moral superiority' just as the pharisees. Jesus twice called the Pharisees a brood of vipers (Matthew 23:33; 12:34). When a viper hisses, you don't stand around hoping its bluffing. Flee!
So whats the matter?
Some of these individuals make a lot of noise about their religion but secretly have their hearts set on earthly goals. They pretend to be heaven-bound. Their speech is pure, their service admirable but their hearts are lined with deceit; enough to fool even themselves. The world mistakenly calls them saints, but Christ knows they are devils. They are rabid wolves in sheep clothing (Matthew 7: 15). We must beware not to fall for their error or be ensnared by their heresies; however convincing they may be we must be on our guard. Don't let a liar with sweet words steal your heavenly crown by infatuating you with promises of things below. The most prominent things these preachers promise God will give you is a 'Great plan' (vaguely), a house, a business, more money, or a spouse (like a certain pastor from Nigeria) Some may have complex theological theories that, if studied carefully, aren't biblically sound.

Indeed God does want you to have these things. God wants to bless you. But should this be all we want from God, so much that we put them before God in our hierarchy of needs?.NO. Here's an example...As a parent, how would you feel when you want to embrace your child and all he wants from you is money to buy toys and not your love or company?... I remember when I was growing up, I could vividly distinguish friends who genuinely wanted to be my friend and those who just wanted to play with my toys. So it is with God and the prayers that come before Him.

The singing hypocrite may escape detection but the preaching one doesn't have that sophisticated camouflage. I can never fully describe how damaging their lies are; I feel melancholy just thinking about how many people have been led astray.Sometimes when I turn on some stations on Sunday morning I want to reach into the TV and grab that preacher by the neck(Forgive me Lord).... THE PROSPERITY GOSPEL. It's nauseous; a stench to the nostrils of The Almighty God. But what is so surprising is that so many professing Christians have embraced it with open arms; some do it without knowing it. I always thought it was so obvious but I was wrong. Its as though the congregation is under a spell; worshiping money and material things rather than God Himself.

How can you recognize a hypocrite?
The Bible says in Matthew 7:16-18 ,"By their fruit you will recognise them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit".... Ladies and gentlemen, a mango tree doesn't produce mangoes to PROVE its a mango tree; it does so because it IS a mango tree. Verse 19-20 warns "Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognise them." (also consider Luke 6:43-45).

These bad fruits are the very opposite of the fruits of the Holy Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23; so instead of Love, there is hatred.Instead of peace there are arguments and chaos.Where there ought to be joy there is sadness. Impatience prevails over forbearance, cruelty over kindness, narcissism over goodness, and prostitution over faithfulness. Gentleness and self-control are but myths to them. When the sin is fully grown there is an outpouring of divisions, divorces, lawsuits, greed, malice, dissent, and godlessness. Their children are burdened and suffer for sins that weren't theirs in the first place.

In case you have suspects in mind (including yourself), ask yourself these questions; can that person die for the Gospel? Is he/she willing to be thrown into a lions den like Daniel? or into the superheated furnace like the Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego? or thrown into a murky pit like Jeremiah?... Lets get more gruesome now. Are the 'Preachers of L.A.' willing to be sawed into two halves like Isaiah? or stoned to death like Stephen? or Beheaded like Paul? or crucified upside-down like Peter? or bludgeoned like James? or boiled in oil like John?.... Of course no one wants to die. But do they love Christ enough to consider their lives here on earth as nothing? is their treasure in Heavenly principles? in eternal rewards? or are they in mundane worldly items that moth and rust doth eat?(Matthew 6:19) Or are they like Judas who, loving money, sold the Holy One for a bag of silver coins? Given their lifestyles, the things they say and prosperity they preach, I doubt their sincerity. But only God judges hearts.

The Bible says, with all honesty,"Love not the world nor the things that are in the world, for if anyone loves the world, THE LOVE OF THE FATHER IS NOT IN HIM. For the desires of the world; the lusts of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life shall pass away. But he who does the will of God lives forever."(1 John 2:15-17).  In Revelations 12:11 ,The Bible talks of Saints that did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. When those saints go marching in, I want to be among the Number! When I get to heaven, I wouldn't want to have trouble being in God's presence; It is a blessed hope of delight rather than a day of dread and fear of condemnation. When this world comes to an end and the great probation comes to a close, I want to be running towards Jesus to quench an eager anticipation, rather than weeping and crying out to the rocks to fall on me as the wicked shall; in horror of His Majesty's Glory (Revelations 6:16).

The Danger of this lie...

Matthew 7:13-14

There are two sets of victims in this Pyramid scheme;whose architect is the devil...
  1. The 'Higher ups' who are deceived by the allure of wealth and are full of greed.
  1. The 'Lower downs' who feed the 'Higher ups' and are robbed of their resources then loose faith in God.

Both groups of people are robbed of a REAL  relationship with God....
I was once captive to the lie of prosperity. I was once swamped by the sensationalism and emotionalism of one American prosperity gospel preacher. There is a 'T' and 'J' somewhere in his names. He sure knows how to get a crowd excited, with fancy words and theatrical gimmicks. I fell for it. When God didn't bring this 'great plan' to pass; I nearly lost my faith and I wondered how many more people went through this great disappointment that I did and left the church. I just wanted to get to the next year of college; but I failed despite hard work. I later stumbled upon        1 Peter 4:12 that says "Do not be surprised at the fiery trial you are suffering , as though something strange were happening to you." James 1:2-4  tells us to "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, when you face trials of many kinds, because you know the testing of your faith produces perseverance.Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."...

After my rough patch, I ACTUALLY became wiser, more mature, patient, less self-conscious, and tough. I even began this page you are now reading. I moved on.But without that traumatic experience, I would never have cultivated the resilience I now have. Had  I gotten what I wanted when I wanted just as that preacher said, I would never have been where I am today. Indeed all things work for the good of those who love him. (Romans 8:28). I'm glad God hurt me; to save me of course. Because He knows the greater scheme of things.

Wealth often isn't a bad thing. In fact its a blessing. But in the pursuit and accumulation of wealth, our hearts deepest desire may easily be shifted from God to the world, just as did king Solomon towards his last days when he prostituted himself to other gods(thanks also to his many wives)

 ( 1 Kings 11:4). .

I strongly believe we are in error when we use the Gospel to obtain indulgent and obscene amounts of wealth; as though that was the work of Christs blood on the cross. He didn't die so you could have a ball here on earth. He died so you may be free of the devils power, his temptations and death. He did it so we may live with Him eternally: in Mansions far fancier than humans can fathom; where mortgages are myths and taxes don't exist, because Jesus paid it all!(John 14:2). Why trade your eternal inheritance and face-to-face communion with God for gold? Do you not know that in heaven the streets shall be made of it? why trade son-ship for gravel? ... The most valuable things on earth are the most worthless in heaven. That is why all the Heavenly host wonder and are baffled when we give away our eternal treasure for temporal gain; just as Esau gave away his birthright for a meal of lentils.(Genesis 25:34)

Whats more depressing is when these hypocrites defend that ill-gotten wealth under a banner that reads "Do not Muzzle the ox that treads the corn"(1 Corinthians 9:9)>>> as true as this scripture is, it is the number one most abused scripture of the 21st century:  following close behind is Jeremiah 29:11 which says...(oh well I'm sure you can recite it off head)..."For I know the plans that I have for you. Plans to prosper you not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future"....What If; to secure your life in paradise, God had to allow the devil to press you in certain ways? as was with Job,the disciples, and countless other prophets and martyrs. What if torment was part of God's plan to prosper you? To prove to the devil your not a phony Christian laden with hypocrisy?... think about that for a moment.... I also believe there is a line preachers shouldn't cross in their accumulation of wealth from their ministries. I'm no judge, but that line is somewhere before a million-dollar mansion, a yacht, or a Ferrari; the very objects of grandeur.

I'm glad I dared to write this and speak out against a lie that is leading poor souls in the wrong direction. I do expect rocks to be thrown at me. In fact I'm prepared for the firing squad; But I serve a God whose messages cannot be muzzled! Before I wrote this, someone forewarned me not to "talk badly in public about preacher x and y" because ill be 'dividing the church'.... Well brethren, Jesus openly rebuked the pharisees in the hope that people will not fall for their error. John The Baptist openly rebuked Herod. Elijah did not spare the prophets of Baal before the whole assembly of Israel.

Ladies and gentlemen, despite all these agonizing truths, there is something to smile about. I thank God who convicts us of sin and leads those who are willing in the right direction!!! I'm THANKFUL! ... Aren't you?

YOUR HOPE SHOULD BE IN THE FACT BELOW......

GOD CURES HYPOCRISY!!!
If you're still reading I must commend your patience with all the words of woe and lament above. Ill leave you with something to smile about... THERE IS HOPE FOR THE HYPOCRITE!!!

Well God was VERY merciful when He said "Return, faithless people; I will cure you of backsliding."(Jeremiah 3:22)... We are weak human beings with a wide spectrum of vices we invariably entertain. We long for redemption from our sin-polluted bodies that desire to defy God. Take comfort friends in the knowledge that Jesus cures hypocrisy, just as he cured Leprosy. For your comfort, know that he has never failed to cure an ailing soul that sought his help. If you have to die, at least die at his doorstep. Jesus indeed condemned hypocrisy, but he will not refuse a hypocrite help; just as he condemned adultery but helped the woman caught in it (John 8:1-11).

In John 3:1 we are told of Nicodemus, a PHARISEE who couldn't stomach conceit anymore. He admitted he needed help; he groaned under the weight of hypocrisy and went in the night to seek Jesus' counsel. He never regretted it. Proof of his conversion was in John 19:38-42 where he assisted in the burial of Christ..Dear hypocrite, if you are overwhelmed, take it to the Lord in prayer; He is the physician who's skill and faithfulness can make you whole. No one has ever fallen out of his healing hand; and no case has ever been too hard for him to handle. Jesus has never stopped healing, even after his ascent to heaven. He still grants forgiveness as faithfully as ever. All you have to do is be thirsty enough for God's grace, enough that you may give up your pride for it. It is the thirsty soul that will be quenched; just ensure your thirst is right and deep. There is Hope for you, and its free of charge.... There is Hope, for a weak and  sinful soul that desires healing.... There is hope for you dear hypocrite, because God came to redeem you from your hypocrisy(John 3:17).... There is hope for you...His name is Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour; to Him be the Glory, Honour and Power. Amen.

HOMOSEXUALITY: where do you stand?

Homosexuality: why should I care?

Lot has been said, published and researched about this topic and I have a feeling we'd never reach the proverbial silver bottom of the well, or catch the proverbial elves  hoarding the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. There's simply too much to say. It is a topic that has generally divided people into three camps, each putting forth the following arguments:

1. " All Homosexuals will BURN IN HELL! LETS KILL EM!!!"

2. "Who cares what people do in their bedroom?that's their business. let them be free."
3. "We cant have legislative solutions to a moral problem"(whilst folding hands).

If you fall into any of these four groups, then your in the right place, and I'm glad you're reading this. Please remember that this article is not meant to offend anyone; Its intention is not to single out, ridicule or embarrass anyone: Its intention is to give you a Biblical perspective on this matter, particularly in a time when the devil is at full throttle with his mission to kill, steal and destroy (John 10:10). With the world spinning the wrong direction, we seem to be getting more and more tolerant to corruption to the point we've become numb to the events around us. I don't know about you, but NOTHING surprises me any more. I feel a sense of urgency due to the indifference I've seen in people regarding this issue; its either people don't care, people don't see how it affects them, or people are using the opportunity to derive entertainment by picking up their torches and joining the lynch mob. I am a Christian- If that offends you, please worry about offending God; I'm not a narcissist that enjoys offending people.NO; But for the sake of the truth Id hurt anyone, even myself, even if it means amputating my limbs without anaesthesia I'd do it. There's a Swahili proverb that says "Msema kweli hapendezi" ( the person saying the truth is unpleasant).I live in Mombasa, Kenya.I once tried to engage a church elder in conversation, how my generation is facing challenges especially in matters of identity, sexuality and ambition: we talked at length but on the topic of sexuality, he didn't have much to say either because HE GENUINELY HAD NOTHING TO SAY, or he just thought it awkward. The church I attend has some severe hard-liners who wouldn't even mention this topic to the congregation; I understand them and the background they each came from, but I disagree with their silence. So Ill address everyone in each of the camps above, and I shall attempt to draw the battle line. thereafter ill show you which side inevitably "wins", and finally, the side that shall survive when God comes back.

1. "All Homosexuals will burn in Hell!!!"

If you fall into this group, Id like to address you first because in your attempts to voice your concerns, you got carried away by the euphoria of the crowd, and your campaign progressively morphed into a chant screaming "Crucify them! Kill them all!!"--condemnation. The Bible says do not judge, and Ill quote it for you. Matthew 7:1-2; (N.I.V) "Do not judge or you too will be judged. For in the same way as you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you" also remember Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God." John 3:17"For Christ came not to condemn the world but to redeem it." It is God who is the righteous judge.Only God knows the complexities surrounding each homosexual and the identity battles raging in each and every one of those poor souls.Am I endorsing homosexuality? NO I'm not. However, a preacher in an interview was asked,

"Will Homosexuality take you to hell?"

  In reply He said,

"Well, Heterosexuality wont get you to Heaven"...

I found it humorous yet witty because with that response, he set the foundation for this pertinent question- WHO WILL GO TO HEAVEN AND WHO WONT?(Ill answer this question at the end of this article). People have hijacked this furore against gays as an avenue to gain some kind of righteousness; as though they'd be given "righteous points" on some virtual score card and everyone is trying to beat the "high score". That in itself is sinful, because the Bible says and I quote,
"Be careful not to do your righteous acts before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your father in heaven"- Matthew 6:1(N.I.V).
Stop trying to show everyone how righteous you are. So put out your torches ye that belong to the lynch mob and pick up a Bible, and if you're going to make noise, let it be constructive and convincing, devoid of a condemnatory demeanour. You may be right that the act is evil, but you need to be methodical in your approach, lest your attempts be futile.

I have good news! GOD LOVES HOMOSEXUALS BUT DETESTS HOMOSEXUALITY.
YOU DON'T HAVE TO SUFFER INTERNALLY; you don't have to battle your own biology; you don't have to feel sexually misplaced; you don't have to feel stigmatized or condemned. Christ won that battle for you on the cross- He was crucified so that you don't have to be crucified. But you must want out of homosexuality and recognize it as a sin, just as adultery, or theft, or murder, or bearing false witness. Christ will give you the victory to overcome your struggle if you let Him in!!! It is for that very reason that He came here. Jesus himself says and I quote; "It is not the healthy who need a doctor but the sick... For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners." Matthew 9:12-13.
If you think its impossible to overcome the battle, read about this guy.

He was in it for thirty years and Christ got him out. He testifies to the truth of the statements "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" Philippians 4:13 and "We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us" Romans 8:37.
I'm sure there's someone out there asking "why should I change who I am? its consensual anyway." Truth is its not who you are. When you perpetually defile the human body, your soul starts to wear out; and the physical manifestations are but a belated announcement of an earlier decay of the spirit. God desires to take you out of the habit, but human obstinacy grieves Him. Romans 1:24 "Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another." verse 26 "Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for  unnatural ones. In the same way men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with LUST for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion."
This is a tip of the iceberg of what the Bible says about homosexuality. God detests it, just like any other sin. I wrote the word LUST in capital letters to highlight one thing.>> The Bible defines sexual feelings towards someone of the same sex as LUST and not LOVE. So whether the feelings are consensual or not, its not love that your feeling, its lust. Is it possible to love someone of the same sex? Yes it is. I love my father and my two brothers. I also love my male friends very much. David loved Jonathan. Ruth loved Naomi. Ain't nothing wrong with that. But as the media continues to corrupt the definition of the word love through poisonous soap operas, television programs etc, I have to use that word more selectively.I feel constraint because of political correctness. Every human being has a right to be free and happy; but the right to happiness is not the right to immorality. Your argument may have facts( even episodes of homosexuals in history) but the truth is more important than facts. So what if there were African princes that did it? does that make it right? does it make it normal because it was done in the past? murders occurred in the past as well; does that make murder okay today? in fact in history utterly condemned homosexuality, even by hanging       ( look up the American constitution and how General George Washington and his friends interpreted it ). But as our society continues in its decadent downward spiral, what was once obscene is now acceptable, and we've become numb to the truth; but to our own destruction. If you're reading this and you're offended, please worry about offending God. Remember repentance paves the way for reform.Do not reject the truth; it is life-giving.

2. "Who cares what people do in their bedroom?that's their business. let them be free."

What people do within the privacy of their bedrooms is their business. WRONG!>>> IF ITS MY 16 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER YOU BET ITS MY BUSINESS!!! God forbid if its my son in there with another man.TRUST ME IT WOULD BE MY BUSINESS!!! but that's just me. How we nurture our children is pivotal in determining what kind of parents or individuals they will be. Nurture determines nature. As for freedom to do as you please, there's something called political correctness and people are no longer free to express themselves. The gay community wants to be free and enjoy the benefits of heterosexual married couples, but when we voice concerns its called a HATE CRIME. In places like Canada; it is prosecutable to speak out against homosexuality; isn't that an infringement on the freedom of speech? It has been equated to speaking out against a race, or a minority of people. That is just plain unfair. There is deep political espionage as the gay community has made their movement seem like the Civil Rights movement of the 1960's; therefore being against it makes you look like your against 'love' when in essence you are against lust. So what they have done is made the anti-gay activist look like a racist or a terrorist or some Nazi. That is sinful in itself. The media has not helped the situation either. Almost every popular television series has that gay couple or some subliminal undertones that endorse their campaign; we may not realize the profound effect that has but its normalized the issue, so much that it affects politics; like Francois Hollande won and the gay community backed him as he promised to further their agendas. Sadly the people of France later on took to the streets in the THOUSANDS to protest of the breakdown of the family as their parliament voted for the legalization of gay marriage. It shows you something--- YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A CHRISTIAN TO KNOW WHAT IS RIGHT AND WHAT IS WRONG. Some things are self evident, and nature testifies to that fact. the pictures below should shock you at how much outrage there is against this, even in the very countries considered to be morally permissive.
You can visit the following site for more information: reuters

So should we sit down and be quiet as the Family is dissected and redefined for us? NO. It was and should always be dad, mum and children. Never should it be Dad, dad and children, or Mum, mum and children. Even for the single parents, the same principle applies. I pray that God may have mercy on those children raised by gay parents. Like ionizing radiation that produces mutations in animals and humans, so shall this legalization of gay marriages produce moral mutations that we may not be able to describe a hundred years down the line. With the legalization of gay marriage, what's to stop two brothers from getting married? or two sisters? or a son to his mother?> after all, they love each other... Here we are Legislating a moral issue, which brings us to the final group that says:

3. "We cant have legislative solutions to a moral problem"(whilst folding hands).

If this is your mindset, Id like to ask; Should we then take a moral problem and have it Legislated???...I want to reveal something rather shocking. HOMOSEXUALS ARE  NOT AS MANY IN NUMBER AS PURPORTED(real statistics) They are 1-3% of the worlds population as opposed to the 25% they want us to believe, and yet, this highly vocal and militant minority has held the whole world captive to their demands. By assuming the sick-role, the gay community has harnessed the worlds sympathy as the fuel that will stoke the fires of their desires. That is the textbook definition of MANIPULATION. Its like intellectual neurosurgery where our thoughts are being transplanted; and the media is the anaesthesia. There are several times in history when the world was filled with so much perversion but only a handful prompted God to destroy That generation.

I can not fail to mention the events that transpired in Sodom and Gomorrah, which were destroyed for their great wickedness and sexual perversion. The story is found in Genesis 18-19. The Bible says that before God rained fire and brimstone on those two cities, He sought if he could find at least 50 righteous people in that town that hadn't turned to homosexuality. If He found 50 He wouldn't destroy it. He did not. In His infinite grace he bargained that number all the way down to ten; and He still could not find ten righteous people. But He found one person called Lot, and God sent His angels to get him and his family out of there. To depict the gravity of these towns wickedness, the citizens demanded to have sex with those angels. Every man in that town from the youngest to the oldest surrounded Lot's house. He offered them his daughters but they refused! they wanted those men that were his visitors. As the crowd grew more lustful and attempted to break in, the angels struck them with blindness such that they could not find the door; so inflamed with lust was the crowd that even in their blindness, they groped about Lot's house trying to find entry. Lot finally made it out, but his wife, overwhelmed by the thought of loosing her material possessions, loved Sodom more than she did her life. She defied the angels orders not to look back and when she did, she turned into a pillar of salt.... We cannot ignore these events and forge forward with complacency. We can only offend God so much before sudden destruction comes upon this world.

Gay clergy
Knowing what God thinks of homosexuality, I find it outrageous that a church would ordain gay bishops, priests and clergy. If you do belong to such a church then I'm afraid there is a huge conflict of principles. You cannot call yourself a Bible church and ordain gay clergy. Am I surprised at what is happpening? Not really. Outraged perhaps but not surprised because the Bible prophesied such events and I quote, "For a time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine.Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths." 2 Timothy 4:3-4.
Martin Luther( a reformist and one of the founders of the Lutheran Church) would convulse in his grave if he heard what the church he started is condoning. YES. The Lutheran Church ordained gay clergy. This is an announcement to the world that the avenues of perversion are now open, even in the church. A time will come when pastors will get sued for refusing to wed a gay couple. The institution of marriage is called Holy Matrimony; and now it is not so Holy. God can neither unite man to man nor woman to woman to yield one flesh (a child, which is a product of that union); only the union of man and woman can do that. (Genesis 2:24). I hope you can see where this is all going.

The Bible says in Luke 17:26-30 "Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the coming of the Son of Man. People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. THEN the flood came and destroyed them all."  It seems to me that the straw that broke the camels back was "marrying and being given in marriage." It was then, and it will be with our generation. A society that does not place limits on its pleasures and appetites inevitably destroys itself. The Roman empire is but an example-- and before their destruction, historians state that the men had lost their masculinity. Ladies and Gentlemen, we are living at the precipice. We are right on the edge and certain crucial events of prophetic significance from the Bible are unfolding before our eyes.

Who inevitably wins this battle?

The Gay community. They'll get what they want. Some events have to happen before this world comes to its inevitable end.

So who is going to heaven?

Matthew 7:21 "Not everyone who says to me 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, BUT ONLY HE WHO DOES THE WILL OF MY FATHER"..... God's will on the matter is crystal clear. It is Gods desire to have every single soul saved and in his loving arms, but we must choose to love Him more than we do our vices and opinions. If theres anything I'd like you to take home, its this- "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it" Matthew 7:13.

Let us take a stand for the truth, and the Truth shall set us free...
