BABYLON, THE APOSTATE CHURCH: Mystery, Pride, Deception

Ladies and gentlemen, I take this opportunity to welcome you aboard a heaven-bound train. I speak the truth. Here is a message that is so rare, our patriarchs wished they had a chance to hear this; a message of grace and redemption that has been availed to us so freely and in abundance. Evidence suggests we are living at the precipice of time. We usually brand the Truth-teller as this obnoxious alarmist that needs to be muzzled. In this case I believe the truth-teller is the one  preaching life and not death. I'm here to draw the line; between what is true and what is false. Between what God asks of us and what Satan is deceiving us to do. Above all I'm here to enlighten and bring to Christ the lost sheep of his fold; by the power of God and His word, not by human eloquence, because we are in need of God's grace.

Beloved, there are so many forms of Christianity and spiritualism that has gone out into the world. Some are in it and they know it not. So many self-help books and so many purported remedies are out there. All these heavily imply the degree of emptiness that is in the world. We often look in the wrong places to gratify the soul and loose sight of the one source that has stood the test of time. Jesus Christ. Seek him and you shall find him. I'll tell you all about Him. He's not a get-rich-quick scheme, nor is he a product packaged in a box that will solve all your worldly problems. He is the Creator of the Universe. The King of kings and Lord of lords. He seeks communion with you. He searches to and fro the earth, seeking them that will stand up for him. For truth. For justice. For TRUE freedom. For eternal Life....I'd say Amen to that.

The Word of God has been there for thousands of years and through it, we see what God intended for us. God's word was good enough for the founders of the church. It was good enough for our grandparents. It was good enough for our parents and certainly, it is good enough for you. As a Christian, you will grow if you search the scriptures with an earnest and keen interest as for hid treasure. You will be armed against the enemy for the days we live in are evil.

There are many folks out there claiming to be teachers and preachers and they say a lot of things. Some are true and some are false. Whatever you subscribe to, it should always have a 'Thus said The Lord' approach. If God commands it, do it. If God didn't command it don't do it. If God abolished it for our sake, let go of it.

So who is Babylon?

To be very direct, Babylon in the Bible is the conglomerate of religions and Christian denominations that are Apostate i.e. in direct contravention of even ONE of the precepts that God ordained us to follow. This conglomerate is referred to as "The bride of the Antichrist" (Revelations 17:1-6).

To show you exactly why this is so, I'd have to refer you to the books of Daniel and Revelation. That would require me to write down tonnes of info and you might get bored as you read and I don't want that. Believe in God. Ask Him to show you when you kneel down in prayer with your Bible open. Ask Him, "What say you Lord?" and He will surely answer if we ask with all honesty and sincerity of heart, putting aside our pride and prejudices. He will replace ignorance with heavenly reason and wisdom. In fact, He may show you more than you can bear. The diligent student who asks with all his heart will be rewarded abundantly. Your heart is what God esteems above all. And to you He will give this knowledge without finding fault (James 1:5).    If you have read this far into the article, then you must be a thirsty soul; thirsty enough for the nourishing truth.

Let me describe Babylon in a bit more detail... It is a pyramid scheme; of an economic and religious kind. A triangular structure with people clamouring to get to the top and be rich and famous, for their own glory; just as did the builders of the tower of Babel. Those at the bottom are slaves and the few at the top live as gods. At the very top of it is Satan. That dragon of old.  He leads men to step on the commandments of God which are the foundation of His government; and the victims, knowingly or unknowingly carry out the enemy's will in trampling on them.

Here’s what I mean…Babylon is a Fatherless place…Okay, perhaps that didn’t quite work. Let me try again….

Babylon is a place where Jesus Christ has withdrawn His presence and said, “Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.” Just as he told the Isrealites after they rejected His salvation, and the Romans came and desolated the place soon after. If there be a contrite heart there, it is by God’s divine grace that they live and breathe. Babylon is in a state of transgression. It is a church walking in a sinful state since it does not keep all the commandments of God, in particular, the fourth which says,"Remember The Sabbath day to keep it Holy."(Exodus 20:8-11). Remember the Bible says of the Ten Commandments,"He who is guilty of breaking one is guilty of breaking all of them."(James 2:10). Ladies and gentlemen, I'm not adding anything to scripture. Neither am I deducting anything. I'm merely expounding on what it says. People in the Sunday Church as well as other religions unwittingly transgress. Some knowingly, but most are doing it unknowingly. Isaiah 59:2 says, “But your iniquities have separated you from your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.”

Since Babylon is in a state of sin, the Devil has a foothold. Satan is therefore free to cheat and deceive as he pleases. I’m sure you’re wondering how so many people could be deceived. Well ladies and gentlemen, many are they that go into perdition; and few there be that walk the and narrow path to Heaven. Just as there were only three survivors from Sodom and Gomorrah; just as there were only eight survivors from The Flood. The numbers shouldn’t discourage you. It is not the quantity of people that matter but their quality.

In my previous article, I mentioned that there are God's children trapped in the Quicksands of Babylon, and by God's omnipotent Grace, some who were once deceived will be enlightened. They will harken to the truth and leave that Apostate entity. There are those in Babylon who are dissatisfied with its present sinful condition. They are tired of being duped by a smooth, sugary, fluffy, marshmallow Gospel that has everything to do with nothing. A gospel that empasises on worldly success whilst ignoring heaven. A gospel that does not correct or rebuke so that the Church may turn from sin. A gospel that will not tell you of Christs’ inevitable return. A worldly gospel that is devoid of Jesus Christ. In fact I dare say it isn't a gospel but a heresy. The heresy of humanism veiled with the cloth of Christianity; a form of godliness but denying the power of Jesus Christ. It is poison. Those with contrite hearts have had their fill of its evil. It has frothed out their nostrils and they can’t take it anymore. I can't take it anymore. We can't take it anymore!

The foundation of this pyramid scheme is: MYSTERY, PRIDE, and DECEPTION: the tripple union of ERROR.(666)

I'll tackle each one of these characteristics in detail.

MYSTERY

Babylon, the apostate church, is mysterious. It embodies the mystery of iniquity. The leaders are in error and willful ignorance. It is a mystery how someone is warned of impending doom and listens not to wise counsel. It is a mystery how one would not enter in the Kingdom through the straight gate. It is a mystery how people wouldn’t read the Bible for themselves to gain a knowledge of what God wants. It is a mystery how people could decide that the ten commandments are null and void, as though a man has greater authority than God, who wrote on the stone tablets with His own finger. It is a mystery how someone would quote scripture out of context to sustain his sins. Yea, it is a mystery. In 2Timothy 3:4-5, Paul writes, "For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. But instead they will heap to themselves a great number of teachers to tell them what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn away from the truth and will be turned unto fables." The only reason one would not harken to God's call is pride...

PRIDE

The Apostate Church is characterized by pride. It is pride that turned Lucifer into The Devil. Satan's church has Satan's children and its members are just like their father. PROUD...

Its so subtle yet potent. You see it in the flashiness of these televangelists and alleged men of God. You know who I'm talking about. Their demeanour. Their words. They clothe their mortal bodies with expensive array to impress others. They want to be associated with their Babylonian institutions but shy away from a personal association with Jesus Christ. They would willingly excuse themselves from doing what Jesus did, but they want the blessings of religion to attend to them during their time of joy or grief. They're too proud to stoop and mingle with the meek and lowly, the poor and suffering. And when they do good works, it is only done to fuel the furnace of pride burning within them, so that they may be seen by men and be acknowledged. What a pity it is to seek the approval of a sinful race more than God. If the Humble Jesus was to show up right here and right now, these hypocrites will be ashamed . Christ’s meekness and gentleness will annoy and infuriate their pride and inevitably, they will spare no device in getting rid of him or His messengers.

There is however a remnant that is sincere there and I pray that God frees them before the plagues start to fall. This church is a club where people come to 'get connections' to advance their worldly ambitions. The preachers, knowingly or unknowingly want to be worshiped; they want unquestionable power and authority over the flock entrusted to their care. They hush any questions or deductions that will bring into question their characters or influence.

You see it in The Prosperity gospel. A gospel where people want to look and feel good. Where people don't really love God but they love the STUFF He gives them. Most people in Babylon are lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God. The militant champions of Babylon are extremely fanatical. They speak passionate and expressive words that pierce the heart and the victims know not that the arrows shot from their quivers are laced with deceitful poison...... Deception.

DECEPTION

Babylon is deceived. Its doctrines are poisonous. It is full of lies and cover-ups. The preachers and priests manipulate your emotions till they convince you to walk in the ways leading to perdition. Babylon has a form of godliness but denies the power of Jesus Christ. The Roman Catholic Church is Babylon's champion institute. Satan, through the masterpiece called propaganda, is trying to deceive us that Babylon is ISIS, that militant group in the middle east that beheads Christians. That isn't so.

It is much like the twilight zone, a television programme they used to air on KTN back in the late nineties. There is scarce that is real or sincere about Babylon except its Mystery, Pride and Deception. That is to say, Babylon is sincerely Proud. It is Sincerely Mysterious and it is sincerely Deceptive. Lo! it is deceived.

Its pride is mysteriously selfish. Pastors are in error but are too proud to admit it. They therefore urge these erroneous practices upon their followers. This pride is taught to the congregation, and the congregation becomes just as proud, deceived and mysterious as the wolves they follow; because the alleged sheep are wolves also. Real sheep follow shepherds. Wolves follow nothing but fellow wolves, making a pack of wolves. Jesus says in Matthew 10:24-25,”The student is not above the teacher, nor a servant above his master. It is enough for the disciple that he become like his teacher, and slave like his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?” The Baphomet’s children reside there; sweetly cherishing that nausea called the Prosperity Gospel.

However, some of God’s true children are in Babylon; by birth, or by delusional choice. There are those among us who have never heard these special truths for this time. God’s precious Jewels are scattered in the dust, mud, sand and filth of Babylon, that Apostate entity. God wants them back. And it is for that reason that this article was written. I dare say,”Let the flies follow the feces of Satan and let the bees follow the honey of Jehovah.” Let the filthy continue to be filthy and let the holy continue to be holy (Revelations 22:11).

This situation gives me melancholy.

I have witnessed the departure of friends and the malignancy of mockers and scorners; of accusers and blasphemers. Most of them rejected the truth. God says through the prophet Jeremiah, ”Stand by the ways and see and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, we will not walk therein.” (Jeremiah 6:16). Most people will reject the truth. But I thank God that MOST is not ALL!!! The Remnant Church of God is Christ’s little flock. We are like refugees in a war zone hoping for the predicted evacuation from this abyss we call earth. Christ’s flock shall follow God’s bidding. Christ says,” My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish. Neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand”  John 10:27-28.

“Here is the patience of the saints, those that keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus.” Writes the revelator. The devil wages war SPECIFICALLY against those that keep God’s commandments as said in Revelations 12:17. If your life goes relatively unopposed, it could be that you and the Dragon are walking in the same direction. Or it could be you’re extremely blest. But I suspect the former. The Bible says in 1 Peter 4:12-14,”Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you. But REJOICE, in as much as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that when His Glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding Joy. If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye: for the spirit of glory and of God rests on you: on their part He is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.”Suffering doesn’t last forever. It is but for a moment. Thereafter comes a refreshing rest from all your sorrows.

Ladies and gentlemen, come out of Babylon, that fallen, Apostate Church that is now Satan’s synagogue, that ye may not be partakers of the plagues that are about to befall her. When you do come out of her, remember God has this to say…..

“If you turn thy foot from the Sabbath; from doing your pleasure on My Holy Day, and call the Sabbath a delight, holy of The Lord, honourable; and shall honour Him, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words; Then shall you delight yourself in the Lord; and I will cause you to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Jacob thy father; FOR THE MOUTH OF THE LORD HATH SPOKEN IT.” Isaiah 58:13-14.

Therefore, if you hear the voice of Christ calling in your life today, I pray that your reply will be,"Here am I Lord, send me." and know that all heaven rejoices at the conversion of a single soul. Even one. Christ would die in your place even if you were the only person in the world. That is a gift worth accepting. Given freely with the promise of eternal life........   

but at such a cost.......
